There is salt in everything!

Mariager´s Salt Centre is Scandinavia´s only salt experience centre - and it encompasses everthing related to salt. There are plenty of activities - enough to do for youngsters and grown-ups for an entire day.

Whether you prefer lots of activities and pratical exploration - or absorption in thorough studies, knowledge, or relaxation, the Salt Centre has something to offer!

Experince the magic in the boiling hut, where we produce "The Whitee Gold" precisely as it was done in the plants in the old days.

Take the mineworkers elevator 138 meters down below into our reconstructed Polish salt mine. In the centre of salt mine you find the action cinema, where you can undertake a terrific virtual journey through some of the wold´s most famous salt mines.

The Salt Centre has the world´s largest collection of salt cellars.

In the exhibition you can learn about the history of salt.

In the lab you can make your own salt.

"The Dead Sea" - A 39- 40 hot salt bath awits you, and there is no way you can sink.

In the Salt Centre you can learn while you play.
